Can my Guinea Pig eat Quince?

Yes, they can eat it up to 1-2 times a week!

High in sugar - a guinea pig should have no more than a 1 cm x 1 cm piece twice a week

An unusual fruit that is normally seen as paste instead of a fresh fruit, quince can be used as an unusual treat in small amounts.

Guinea pigs and rabbits should have a variety of at least 5 different types of leafy greens to protect against nutritional excesses and deficiencies. At least 80% of the diet should be a good quality grass or cereal hay.
