Can my Guinea Pig eat Grapes, Thompson Seedless?

Updated: May 2

Yes, they can eat it up to 1-2 times a week!

High in sugar - a guinea pig should have no more than a grape a week

Most pets love grapes, and they're a treat that comes in a serving size already! Caution must be taken if you have dogs, as grapes and grape products like sultanas are toxic to dogs.

Guinea pigs and rabbits should have a variety of at least 5 different types of leafy greens to protect against nutritional excesses and deficiencies. At least 80% of the diet should be a good quality grass or cereal hay.
