Can my Guinea Pig eat Grapefruit, White?

Updated: May 2

Yes, they can eat it up to 1-2 times a week!

High in sugar and acid - a guinea pig should have no more than a section a week

While grapefruit is touted as a good source of vitamin C, it should only be fed occasionally in small amounts, and there are many leafy greens such as parsley that are even higher in vitamin C

Guinea pigs and rabbits should have a variety of at least 5 different types of leafy greens to protect against nutritional excesses and deficiencies. At least 80% of the diet should be a good quality grass or cereal hay.
