Can my Guinea Pig eat Cooked Food?

No, they can never eat it!

Excessive carbohydrates and novel chemical compounds make all cooked foods toxic.

Our pets don't have a digestive system that can digest cooked food well, and while some pets can tolerate it, we don't recommend feeding any cooked food to be on the safe side.

Guinea pigs and rabbits should have a variety of at least 5 different types of leafy greens to protect against nutritional excesses and deficiencies. At least 80% of the diet should be a good quality grass or cereal hay.
