Can my Guinea Pig eat Carrots?

Yes, they can eat it up to 1-2 times a week!

High in sugar - a guinea pig should have a 1 cm piece twice a week at the most.

The classic herbivore treat is easy to feed, works well in food puzzle toys, and as training treats when chopped up.

Guinea pigs and rabbits should have a variety of at least 5 different types of leafy greens to protect against nutritional excesses and deficiencies. At least 80% of the diet should be a good quality grass or cereal hay.

✔ Validated by Dr. Nicole Su
