Can my Guinea Pig eat Baby Carrots?

Yes, they can eat it up to 1-2 times a week!

High in sugar - a guinea pig should have a 1 cm piece twice a week at the most.

A healthy treat option that most pets love, and great for using in food puzzle toys! Carrot juice and carrot puree can also be used in small amounts, such as when giving medication.

Guinea pigs and rabbits should have a variety of at least 5 different types of leafy greens to protect against nutritional excesses and deficiencies. At least 80% of the diet should be a good quality grass or cereal hay.
